Vicegram is being built in Kent, England, on its own servers rather than rented ones. Blocking someone removes them from your feeds, your search results, your messages and your comments everywhere at once, and they cannot tell which of those they lost. Reports go to people, who see exactly what was reported and nothing else: there is no tool for staff to read private conversations. Every decision arrives with a reason, and every decision can be appealed to someone who did not make it. Accounts for under-18s start private, stay out of suggestions and only take messages from friends. Two-factor sign-in comes with one-time recovery codes. Messages are protected in transit but are not end-to-end encrypted yet, and we will not pretend otherwise. Ask the team anything about how this works.
